Currently, I am writing a book that will make these creative teaching ideas available and inspire further progression in education. I am constantly researching new ways, and inventing new tools, to teach. I strive to replace this distaste with a passion for the fundamentals of the subjects, just as a long line of teachers have done for me. I seek to undo the damage and negative effects students often suffer/endure from poor teaching practices. With degrees in physics and mathematics, and minors in biology and computer science, I became an interdisciplinary science graduate student at Arizona State University (ASU), where I completed a Master's Degree in Bio-Electrical Engineering. I teach hundreds of students every semester. I am also trained in the Wilson Foundation and Wilson Reading Program, which is the more "children friendly" version of the Orton Gillingham methods, for which I attended annual training conducted by Colorado Department of Education.

I was trained directly by the Statewide Special Education Literacy Resource Teacher Trainer of the Hawaii State Department of Education. of Education, during the 2008-2009 School Year. I am trained and Certified in Orton Gillingham reading methods by the State of Hawaii Dept. Fluent in French, Indonesian, Sundanese, and conversant in Russian and Japanese. Certified as a Qualified Parent Trainer in Communication by Family Team Institute, Ft. Qualified administrator and interpreter of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator for career skills and major selection. Seven years of Special Education teaching experience provided insight into differences in learning styles, issues of learning disabilities including ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, and Autism Spectrum Disorders, and how these impact higher education experiences. I have over 20 Years of Extensive Tutoring, Educational Counseling, Mental Health Services, Client Advocacy, and Special Education Teaching experiences.
